nowadays got a bit of time so always I try to post a bit before activities catches up with me again, causing the blog to fall into despair for weeks on end.
I was let in on the So-Powderful-And-Unbelieveably-True-And-Shocking-That-It-Is-Earth-Shaking-Secret-Of-Commonwealth-Of-The-Year-2007!©
okay lah, at least this far into the year yet.
for the first time my hardworking cells overcame my kaypoh ones and I failed to realise the blossoming of the next big couple since... the ones next door last month (more than one by the way).
the clues are right in front of my eyes yet I did not realise it! I must be losing my kaypohness! oh no! hey wait. is that good?
it is a really unexpected turn to the story thus far though. hah.
==
anyway, I think only whole of 4/3 and parts of 4/5 know it so far so I wont let out too much. but then friendster do make great reading =)
dont say I 亏待 you all la. a small titbit. I am not ready to die without being in a relationship at least once yet (this does not apply to the couple in question, haha!) so it has been blurred.

==
this is the final year in CSS for those who are in the same situation as me, and it seems many people are making use of the oppurtunity toget laid have an enchanting and illustrious and amorous and resplendent and amatoric memory of their secondary school days.
(use a dictionary to discover the meaning to the words, you lazybum)
there are more than a handful of such couples with both parties in Secondary 4 Express (I dont really care about the rest) and mostly began late last year or early this year,
too bad it isnt (and probably will never) be my turn. at least not in secondary school. how I envy them. aww~~
you thinking I will put something emo and lame here like typical blogs? you just wasted 15 seconds of your time reading this. bwahaha!
==
tomorrow Sets class test wor! fail liao must drop A Maths wor! I know it is quite a simple chapter la, but then I lack some logic and Mr Leong's questions tend to trick gullible people like me. so I will practice a bit just to be sure. hah.
some more got so much A Maths homework. not to say Mr Leong is bad. he is really pretty good. he helped me gain some interest in mathematics, but then his workload comes down like a torrential downpour, especially during tight days like today and tomorrow where there are his lessons, it gets a bit tiring.
the more I talk about it the more worried I get. maybe I should go do maths now. bb.

it doesnt seem quite appropriate in Life, so I created some lame title.
I am watching The Arena for the first time, though it should be perhaps the fourth episode so far. currently this is the end of round 1.
both of them stammered quite a lot, but Xinmin that orange shirt guy is stammering like no tomorrow when rebutting though he is okay when reading off the prepared materials.
makes me really nervous when they stammer along like this.
at round 2, the guy (Kuo Chuan Presbyterian) is losing out. the girl (Xinmin) seems to have much more solid backing for her points and her rebuttals also came out pretty smooth.
seems my perceptions are similar to the judges. aiya no more time for The Arena already. now for The Peak.
maybe I will check the results slightly later.

the New Blogger is hardly out of beta! every time I tick remember me at the login screen, it always forgets the next time I reboot. zz.
anyway, I passed my first A Maths common test of the year at 50%. quite heng lah, considering there are two answers that are actually wrong that is marked correct. a lot of people had this problem too, so it is not about being dishonest ok!
also, madam chang gave some Secondary 1 Express Common Test for this year and I had difficulties doing the HCF and LCM. oh boy.
==
on a side note, though I finally fitted the W800i case onto my K750i, the LCD screen backlight is dead, so I wasted 30 minutes building something that wont work anyway. though I wonder what went wrong. I checked and I did not damage any cables what? strange.
I bought a fried chicken wing to eat just now when I am coming back from Boon Lay Bus Interchange. why dont scientists genetically modify the chicken so that there will be only one bone instead of two bones at the middle joint? easier to eat that way.
==
this post is setting a new benchmark for random posting. so I will end here since I ran out of ideas. hah.

it is now the end of week 5?
secondary 4 time really flies past man. in another few months it will be MYE! and that includes ALL sec 3 and 4 stuff! wtf!
then add a few months from there it is O Levels, the devil that often deprived us of rest and play time for the past 3 years plus, for those in the same situation as me at least.
after that I had to make a decision to head for JC or polytechnic. if polytechnic, which course? if JC, arts or science?
dark clouds loom ahead over my future.
it is time I start pondering about my future I suppose. but I can honestly say that, if I could reverse time now, I would have headed for the triple humanities class.
though I wont meet all the people I met and knew so well today, with an extra subject (which I think I will do okay in) as well as physics, prospects are better.
no use crying over split milk lah. now must make the best of the situation I suppose. sigh.
==
this week has been pretty hectic. loads of A Maths work, A Maths common test (which I think I did okay considering how bad my track record is), biology class test (BAD!), NAPFA trial (time to tone up), total defence project (!)...
finally I know why the sec 4s are so stressed. the amount of work is actually only slightly more than last year, but then all the teachers give you pressure and start their pep talk about prospects, future, scores and stuff that sets you thinking, often in a non-positive way.
==
... you can see I am not making sense. that is because I forgot what I wanted to post about, and ended up putting out whatever I am thinking of. damn.
if I happen to remember I will blog it down. hah.

I propose we change class with the opposite block. sec 1s and 3s would not mind being forced to shift their books away everytime there is some stupid shit that needs the collapsable walls classrooms. they wont have much books anyway.
if my table (it is more like the books that I care about) really goes missing I think I will die or something. please let me find it!
A Maths common test two days away! damn. I am not too confident about it. even if I may be dropping A Maths soon, I hope to still prove myself that I can manage the subject. oh well.
loads of homework over this weekend, can say I cleared nearly half so far. the maths worksheets were shittily difficult though.
remedials beginning next week. no more doing homework in library in the afternoons with the choir people. damn.
surprise biology test next week. hmm.
WHY SO MANY BAD THINGS NEXT WEEK? AHHHHHHHHH!
==
anyway, went Jurong Point today for a short walk before going home after doing some work at The Frontier Community Library. the story goes like this.
there I saw a typical teenage couple. though the girl seem a little young in my opinion. those still-in-primary-school-got-stead-liao-even-though-I-knn-nearly-sixteen-still-dont-have kind.
the girl is carrying the black with white stripes typical smooth plastic Zinc slingbag seen everywhere.
clipped to the strap near her chest area is a transparent plastic card holder with a NRIC inside. supposedly its hers.
what a strange sight. I thought and walked on, not being bothered enough to follow a teenage couple whom recently discovered some things they can do with their bodies and end up making myself jealous.
as if luck have it (or lack thereof), I saw them at the ticket checking guy at the cinema halls entrance as I headed for the arcade. they seemed to be watching a movie (duh) since I see a pair of squarish white with yellow strip of paper on the guy's hand.
seeing that the three of us are so fated to meet, I decided to just slow down my pace a little and take a second glance.
as the guy handed the tickets over, the ticket checker took a look at the girl, took a quick-and-awkward glance at the area where the NRIC is, then let them in.
==
wah lao eh I live for nearly 16 years also never think of this before okay! if you are female and not yet 16, this is how you can go watch any movie you felt like watching, including R21!
the staff cannot possibly stare hard at it, especially if you have a boyfriend, or for those who dont, a guy carafare as your boyfriend, beside you if they dont feel like getting a punch (or two).
they also cannot tell you to take it out since at that point you can hurl abusive insults like...
"GV never train you all to inspect ICs quickly and efficiently ah?"
or maybe...
"you 老花 and cannot see something so close wor?"
for the best effect you can say
"you wanna use this chance to take advantage of me? you want me to complain to your manager?"
all this will seriously damage any guy's ego, confirm! ahem.. pardon my sadism-and-sarcasm-laden comments. back to topic...
that poor guy will lan lan suck thumb and let you enter. let the boyfriend / carafare boyfriend add something at this point for maximum impact.
I havent thought of how a guy can use such a tactic though. if you place it near your groin it would look pretty obscene. if a female staff squats down and check, not only would it be more obscene than putting your IC there, you might get a punch (or two) from your girfriend instead.
anyone females wanna try the idea? I can volunteer to be the carafare boyfriend or something. guys and gays need not apply. thank you.

got this lameass story off hardwarezone as usual. people's crap generation techniques are so boundless that it fails to not amuse me even till today.
is the story authentic as it claims? actually I dont know too. I did change things here and there to clean it up since the original creator has totally fu... messed up english.
companies should really hire the person who wrote this story to do an ad for them.
==
This is a true story of a young college girl who passed away last month. Her name is Jolene. She was hit by a lorry. She has a boyfriend named Benedict. Both of them are true lovers. They always talk on the phone and you can never see them without their handphones.
She spends 3/4 of the day talking with Benedict. Jolene's family knows about their relationship. Benedict is very close with Jolene's family. (just imagine their love). Before she passed away she always told her friends "If I pass away please burn me with my handphone". She also said the same thing to her parents.
After her death, people cannot lift her coffin up. I was there and many people, including myself tried to but still failed. Eventually, they called their neighbour, a "bomoh" from thailand (Pak Darin), who is a friend of her father.
He took a seat and started speaking to himself slowly. after a few minutes, he said "this girl misses something here". then her friends told Darin about her intentions to burn her with her phone. He then opened the coffin and placed her phone and SIM card inside the casket.
After that they tried to carry the coffin. It could be moved and they carried it into the van easily. all of us were shocked.
Jolene's parents didnt inform Benedict that she had passed away. (pity Benedict). After 2 weeks Benedict called Jolene's mom.
Benedict says "Auntie, I'm coming over today. Dont tell Jolene that I'm coming over today. I wanna suprise her."
Her mother replied "You come over first, I wanna tell you something very important.". After he arrives, they told him the truth about Jolene.
Benedict thinks that they were playing a fool. He was laughing and said "Don't try to fool me. Tell Jolene to come out. I have a gift for her. Please stop this nonsense". Then they showed him the death certificate. Benedict started to sweat.
He said, shivering "Its not true! We were chatting yesterday. She called me!" At this moment, Benedict's phone rang. "See, this is from Jolene." He showed the phone to Jolene's family.
All of them told him to answer. He used the loudspeaker mode and all of them heard his conversation loud and clear. no cross lines, no humming. it is the actual voice of Jolene. There is no way others could use her SIM card since it is nailed inside the coffin. They were so shocked and asked for pak darin's help again.
Pak Darin brought his master (Tok Chen) to solve this matter. He & Darin worked for a while before finally discovering the answer...

cleaning up this article is really gruelling since I saw a lot of irritating grammar mistakes I see all the time that results in my pet peeve of correcting others' english.
somewhat lame story in my opinion. so why did I post it? to spread stupidity around. and you have just been stupidifed. lol.

Life & Patch 2 - 19/1 - Friday
early friday morning now. just done "undrafting" posts back to January 1st 2005. seems I made it that way that time to close the blog for a while.
I used the oppurtunity to read through my posts and found that over the years (actually 2 years plus only), I grdually learnt to compress info into smaller chunks and wrote more less lame stuff.
seeing that even at the current state you can see there is still lame stuff and long winded lectures scattered around, you know how bad it is in the past. haha.
no wonder they say keeping a diary is fun. reading about your thoughts from some time ago reminds you of the incidents that happened at that time and laugh as you wonder what made you think that way back then.
okay if I continue I might just start typing rubbish as my brain is currently semi-autopilot in sleep mode so I shall end off here.

finally decided to make a PSS2 post with some camp stuff. haha.
at this moment I am posting, they are showing flashbacks of contestants starting from the first round till now.
female champion chosen first. my guess is diya. but I pray hard carrie gets it since I made 10 bloody calls.
okay ads now. time to go on to some other stuff!
==
I successfully moved to the new blogger. unfortunately the new features are not really that exciting. I still cannot upload pictures super easily, which is a great shame.
at least I did not have major problems with the move. it took me about 1 minute to shift over, which is pretty fast actually.
I havent explored other features yet. maybe I will look at them tomorrow. hah.
why havent the bloody ads ended?
okay, hmm.. today's study camp... wait. ads finally over. it is now carrie's flashback. must watch.
==
I am so nervous now. because got so little people to eliminate, they are wasting time talking. sheesh.
*11.44pm* it is ticking! within 30 seconds the result is out. yes it is diya. damn, no more chiobu. AND I WASTED 10 CALLS. FREAKING $6. though this proves I am psychic. this is what I expected two weeks ago.
*11.47pm* not bad got farewell song by carrie some more. not bad la especially since now singing without pressure.
*11.50pm* ads again. argh. flashbacks for daren now. fangirls rejoice.
==
back to study camp in that case. it is very much just having lessons while having looser schedules in a larger class.
yesterday personal grooming we learnt some interview skills. like what would you do if you spill wine on the passenger if you are a SIA stewardess (or steward).
I quote from the speaker. "girls should avoid showing their cabbage (the person pronounced it this way) to the interviewers. guys already think of sex seven times a day, you do not have to remind them."
then the subject options things are very much stuff I know, maybe except the polys part. my most ideal school is NYJC, but it is at Serangoon. craziness.
anyway, the show is back. have fun.
==
*11.58pm* I bet they are overrunning. bwahahaha. the guys would have like 60% less time to talk than the girls.
and yes I am right. it IS daren.
so now diya and daren indeed entered the grand finals. I am pretty sure daren will take the crown in this case. damn the show is so predictable now.
*12.07am* super overrun man. haha. so this is the end since I dont know what to talk about for camp too. it is really that boring. haha.
byebye then =)

here I am again! diya confirm go in first la. popularity and performance all best among the females.
*update at 11.39pm* diya in first indeed. daren, nat and wenhai up. daren I suppose.
*update at 11.41pm* w00t. also the best performer among guys and also reasonable popularity. methinks he is marketable in the taiwan idol market.
now michelle on too with previous two. hmm... carrie?
*update at 11.43pm* got one wrong. averil in first. averil got a very strange look. carrie now with michelle. getting a bit worrying..
guys again ah. lesheng?
*update at 11.45pm* bloody hell. losing my psychic powers liao. but still, expected wenhai to enter, except not in this order.
ads time. now final 2 to enter of course advertisements now la. okay, back at 11.49pm.
*update at 11.50pm* wah heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeng ah. carrie in. michelle is out though. she is the worst among females currently so I guess it cant be helped.
lesheng or nat? lesheng can sing, nat is popular. I am in a dilemma. considering votes is 70%, should be nat then?
*update at 11.54pm* I am right. at the very beginning of the competition I expected lesheng to win, but as we slowly moved away from synthetic singing to idollic characteristics, he slowly lost his shine.
now I think diya and daren would reach finals, and the grand winner would be a guy since it is usually girls doing more calling, making it daren. see if I am right.
*update at 11.39pm* diya in first indeed. daren, nat and wenhai up. daren I suppose.

P.S. I am falling back on a lot of posts I wanna make. I will slowly post them up over the weekend hopefully.
==
so today is the beginning of a new school year and I am now the seniorest in school, except those 30 plus sec 5s.
mrs teo gave a super lengthy speech (1 1/2 hours at the hall, 15 minutes at parade square) as usual to annouce what we achieved in the past year.
met the CM and chose new class committee again. I am still ICT rep. I wanted to be secretary though. that position has such a nice name and yet you dont have to do any work. damn.
anyway, looking at the sec 1s scampering around for orientation, I am impressed how much I have grown and matured within this 3 years plus. no wonder they say teenage years is a period of extreme change.
==
some updates on teachers:
CM and sciences:
4/5 CM is now Mrs Yeo, the chemistry teacher. not only did her wish of not teaching us this year not happen, she even became our CM.
the class have more respect for her so things should become better. I hope.
the previous CM, mdm soh continues to teach us Biology, though she is no longer CM.
Mathematics:
E Maths teacher is now madam chang. I am very sure she isnt very good just seeing how easy the papers she set are.
to make matters worse, A Maths is now a combined lesson with 3/4 by Mr Leong and Miss Chua at the AVA. I now have maths teachers of two extreme ends.
I am so dead.
Languages:
change of chinese teachers happened since the condensed timetable last year. it is HOD Chinese Mrs Yeo PC. so nothing much here.
english is still smithy methias. I am very interested to see how he much more strict he will be with the class this year, with the girls around.
Humanities:
rosmiliah is going on training according to my cousin, so the switch to Mr Gerald is expected. good thing I did not get ridz like 4/4.
combined humanities is still chloe png, which is splendid.
Others:
PC and CME is combined into a single 50 minutes block, with Vicki Loh taking CME. it will be interesting to see how lessons will be arranged.
no more vilau for PE (4/4 got them, LOL) and now is someone called Michelle, a relief for Choo since he resigned according to our new wonderful CM.
Overall:
my teachers had overhauled quite a bit. changes in maths is the most depressing for me since I got the two teachers I hoped I would never ever get. I can live with the rest though.
==
other than teachers, facilities changed too with a new school campus:
Classroom:
why the heck are sec 4 classrooms on first floor!?
the chairs are in merry colours of red, yellow, green and turquoise! even my primary school dont do this.
the whiteboard rests on a sliding panel that can open to the next class, useful for combined lessons. interesting idea.
more fans, lights and space. good.
where is the "stage" the proposal talked about?
Canteen
japanese food stall not open yet. aww.
the western food seems pretty overpriced. nothing of theirs costs less than $1.50. my chicken chop with fried rice cost $2.20.
cold drink operator did not change. prices same too.
pretty strangely shaped in my opinion.
General:
the mudskipper pond is still a mudskipper pond.
why does classrooms not get reservoir views?
the hall no aircon! I will die of heatstroke in O Levels!
why are classrooms so isolated?
why does the principal office get a balcony??
==
enough before everyone goes crazy.
another thing is the implementation of the parade square rule. now we can no longer wait in classes for morning assembly, which sucks since I can use those time for revision for tests.
if a majority of the school fails to flaunt this rule I will be going to school at a later time.
guess this is the end for the first day of school. tomorrow's lessons are mostly lessons I like so I think I will be safe. teeheehee.
