today is the first "official" outing with those girls from 1/2.

lessons are not too interesting, except for this few days I see people running at the stretch right beside my classroom before recess.

thus you end up seeing all the people you know running past and sometimes you say hi to them. and there goes the lessons before recess. exciting.

why is secondary 4 life so drab? everyday all you really ever do are lessons. there are still CCAs now, but come april they will end too, and what lies ahead is a lonely stretch leading up to the national examination filled with remedials, mock tests and practice exam papers.

this seems to be deja vu of what happened in primary 6, except at twice the scale. it had jolly well help.

today's english remedial started right after biology and thus ended earlier at about 3pm. those four girls are waiting for us regarding elfin's birthday stuff since their dismissal at 1pm.

in case you wonder where the fourth girl came from, she is mabel's friend. admire their patience. sec 1s are indeed different after all.

after having quite a hard time trying to decide which movie to watch and when at the canteen(seems to be sometime in march holidays), we decided to buy present first.

elfin and... mabel's friend (didnt catch the name, sorry) did not join us. mx also cannot come since his mother picking him up.

those girls have a pretty bad sense of balance though. they practically took turns to lose their balance on the bus trip. lol.

this leaves zp, chin hou, mabel, xinying and me. we went to JEC and after walking around, seems we still cannot find the present they want, so end up heading for westmall. chin hou left by this time.

now left with the four of us. zp and xinying became particularly quiet, making the atmosphere rather tense. good thing xinying cleared up later on, probably to make things less awkward. thanks hor =)

and now we linger inside the Gift Image shop to choose the gifts. seems we took about an hour plus. it is much better than my last time inside that shop though, since these girls actually communicate with me you see.

the bill added up to 16.20 and I paid the 10 dollars of it. the other 6.20 came from zp. I will see if I shall collect part of the money back.

yeah so this is about all that happened for today actually. now off for more A Maths corrections.

it is about 5.15am on the 2nd day of CNY now. finished approximations worksheet. heehee.

had dreams about her for two continuous nights with two totally different scenarios. hmm. so now the rule about dreams are opposite of real life no longer applies, unless you tell me which one to trust lah.

damn, cannot forget the dream. damn sweet leh. you wont ever know what it is though, unless you tell me you had the same dream or something.

happy chinese new year anyway. wanted to post this message but then I having mass coversation when the hour hand struck 12 on the first day of the new year.

I decided to omit the day and date from the title seeing that they are shown right at the header of the post.

just went to help my sixth uncle with his stall at the market since it will open till early next morning. it is a practice to do this at all markets on two days before CNY.

the crowds are atrocious. it takes me a full minute to walk from the temporary "kueh" stall to the actual stall, which would have taken 5 seconds normally.

why are singaporeans so last minute? every time need to sign up for something confirm got some people wait till near the end and squeeze with everyone to get it done.

I also discovered that I am not gifted in estimating weight without a weighing scale. an auntie told me to get her 50 cents worth of beansprouts and I have no idea what is it.

do you find that what I just typed is incredibly pointless? I thought so too. so lets move on.

this year CNY celebration stretched to an hour, an improvement that last year's 20 minutes.

this year's programmes are more innovative too. there is this 1/3 mass dance thing. I wonder who coerced these kids into shaming themselves in front of 1300 over people. anyway, the moves are uncoordinated and it feels unpolished. but I forgive them for that since they did not have much time to prepare.

there is also a performance by sec 2 drama people. the script leaves much to be desired, but at least the acting is commendable. I see the idiotic wei hao of 2/8 on stage. bugger. hope a car runs him down and make him even shorter one day.

the highlight of the day is seeing those chinese teachers in some china little kid act cute costume dancing around. memorable indeed. in a bad way.

actually got some drama about two particular members of a club waiting 2 hours for CCA to start, which did not eventually happen since one of them have selective amnesia and forgot about when the sungei buloh trip is. but then it is not worth typing out. seriously.

oops. and did I just say sungei buloh? which CCA goes to sungei buloh? I wonder.

school is short today thanks to the good MSG in the O Levels. Mr Leong say next year we move Express stream into Band 1 then can become one whole day off. I think it may be possible since we have people of bird bird calibre. hah.

the total defence day performance is not worth mentioning. the fancy drill is kinda badly choreographed, the video thingy cybernauts did not complete it in time so it should not be remembered. and that leaves nothing already.

lets discuss some lovey dovey stuff that happened on this special day.

wei lei, after giving a particular girl the 5-per-pack Ferrero Rocher (all others got 3-per-pack) yesterday, he received a valentine's day present back from the exact girl. I am so envious. lol.

I know I shouldnt laugh at people, but seeing that girl go to sharon (of 4/6), who is sitting next table to us at the canteen, and asking her to pass it to him is really pretty funny. lucky that girl dont know me so she wont know I laughing at her. bwahahaha~

bryan prepared a bouquet of roses and a Sony MP3 Player thingamajig on the advertisements costing $239 for the girl he like. I wanna be bryan's crush now. I would just accept the gift and reject him.

zp err... courageously went up to the girl he liked and gave his gift. a rose and a bottle of stars. indeed a lot of effort put in. the girl accepted and never say anything? what does that mean ah?

mx gave the rose he bought from the Council to the girl he liked too. but then I think the Student Council made bandung (rose syrup) with his rose since it is somewhat black. haha.

junhua bought a 30-pack of Ferrero Rocher and a beautiful bouquet of roses for... pf. and I meant really goddamned beautiful. it is very nicely arranged even though there isnt a lot of roses. most of those money must have went to the arragement.

even wei ru bought a bouquet of flowers and sprayed some perfume on it to give to the girl he like, making it a day when love is really in the air.

on the receiving side of things, today is free gifts day in my class loh. many of the girls in my class prepared some kinda thing or another for the entire class. thanks to all who bothered to do that. I appreciate it =)

seems many are using the sec 4 year to show their love for whoever they like. last year we didnt have half as many such stuff.

also made me feel pretty empty. as desmond chew says, couples celebrate while loveless (or unrequited love) guys like us ends up in a daze. hah.

so after school I sent my phone for service after swopping the front cover to chun kit's (no crack, so they wont suspect anything!). it is a hugely boring 15 minutes wait though. haha. only can get back on 21st thanks to the CNY holiday.

after that, I went over to Jurong Entertainment Centre since chin hou and desmond heading over to meet zp, mx and shaocong.

that is when the fun starts.

since desmond and chin hou wanna be cheapo and take shuttle bus, I reached earlier than them. somewhat at that time got three girls ask whom is the flower zp holding on his hands from, after one of them observed his cute expression carrying it while pressing the vending machine.

zp refuse to tell then they end up chasing him like merry go round a few times. nothing much happened now yet, but then we went KFC and eat when we discussed about them, led by chin hou. after that we go back up to take neoprint (dont ask me why, I merely followed).

there we meet those 3 girls again. talk about coincidence. this time round chin hou's tikoness overcame his self control and he proceeded to go talk to them.

after a small talk they went off to take their own neoprints. then the rest of us lagged around as they refuse to take neoprint without a girl. our saviour, lizanne emerged and they proceeded to take it.

note that I did not take the neoprint in case you are wondering.

then once they are done taking and designing (half a painful hour later), those three are still lingering there. this time round nearly everyone is affected by chin hou and the average testosterone levels increased exponentially and everyone started chatting around.

at this point we finally know they are mabel, elfin and xinying from 1/2. the class is right opposite ours by the way. if the world is so small why havent we met before? anyway I digress.

chin hou is desperate to take a neoprint with them. okay fine, in fact every guy there is. but then that stupid machine cannot fit that many heads so I forgone it yet again. zz.

while waiting for yet another painful hour, michelle dropped by so I decided to spend time by chatting around with her. still did not get her email and phone number. omfgwtf.

anyway, as you can see, within two hours we went from strangers to acquaintances. okay probably except me since that xinying person dont know who am I. *sniff*

the experience is really quite an eye-opener. while it does show all guys want to talk to girls, but it is the first time I managed to know people so quickly thanks to chin hou the despo and zp the bait (lol lol).

I am impressed I can write so badly. good thing this isnt O Levels. but at least very detailed right?

today I went with two very romantic (read: despo) guys to NTUC Jurong Point to buy chocolates for valentine's day.

the way they buy chocolate is like it is retailing at 5 for $1. each of them bought like 6 or 7 3-pack and 1 5-pack Ferrero Rocher. of course the 5-pack is for someone special one la. but one of them refuses to tell me who is the lucky (or maybe unlucky) girl.

the total bill ran up to over 10 dollars for each of them. just for chocolates only some more. so much for love. haha.

by the way, please keep a look out for wei lei next week hor. thanks.

I did not buy any though. as you know, the girls I like are extremely popular and I do not want to cause them any anguish. see I am very thoughtful.

those two romantic guys also came along with me to go rent some DVDs to commemerate my 16 year old birthday (hah).

thus I rented Scary Movie 3, You, Me and Dupree, Rob-B-Hood, Runaway Vacation and Hitch. two of these movies are NC16 by the way. hahahaha.

normally it would be about $15 for 3 DVDs for 5 days if you were to go shops like VideoEzy. but MJ junction at JP has a "school holiday promo" that allows students to rent 5 DVDs at $15 for 7 days!

it is a huge steal okay! wei lei also decided to share the cost with me since he wanted to watch too so I paid only $7.50!

I can show ya. you can enlarge the image and see for yourself. of course must thank wei lei for making something cheap even cheaper lah. so it is considered half a birthday present. thanks hor.
