since everybody hates S.H.E. so much, how about Maroon 5? this song changes the mood of the blog until so peaceful like that =P

can anyone get me the Taufik Batisah album for my birthday? I decided not to buy it and I shall continue saving up my money for something bigger =D so anyone anyone? thanks to anyone who bought it for my birthday =D

anyway, I STILL HAVE TO GO TO MCDONALDS SCIENCE CENTRE FOR CYBERNAUT MEETING! what the hell? it had better be eventful for making me wake up so early (9am)...scully the Mcdonalds at science centre not even open =P

chng ch, the maths teacher from last year is making a comeback! he is gonna teach us general science this time in place of loh lo who will teach 2/1 and 2/6, 2/7 and 2/8 instead. she left us!boohoo! anyway, mr chng dont look good enough to teach sec 2 science. would he be able to handle chapters 6 and 7 properly =P ? I doubt so seriously. he looks like those type of not so open teachers. if only charles surin come back and teach us this two chapters, it will make the lesson very fun =P

as you know F&V merged into cybernauts. senior vice chairman then stated this:

cybernauts will be in four major groups next year and they are:

I dont think I can head the hardware section by myself. and so I am in the process of appealing for Bahari to be one of the HOD of hardware too. (better if he is the HOD of hardware and I am not)

the senior vice chairman made changes to the management again. and this time cck became deputy vice chairman (teeheehee) while I dropped to Operations (and still under that cck) =(

deputy chairman will be chosen later.

look at what the appointment holders have to do:

thats all =P =P

song changed again

Friday, January 07, 2005

found the JZLP's song is getting boring. so changed to a new one (and of course I had to host it myself again...). cant quite decide between Tong Kuai or Hou Niao. so may change to the latter soon when I got bored of this song =P

lyrics are now uploaded too. click on the name of the song below the Currently Playing word. A new window would open with the lyrics in the window.

THE JJC JC1 ORIENTATION CAMP IS SO LOUD! THEY STARTED SCREAMING SINCE TODAY 5AM AND NOW AT 4PM THEY ARE STILL SCREAMING AND CHEERING!

but nevermind, if they are too loud, the neighbourhood police centre right next to them will go and inform them, no need to call police =P they look like they are enjoying themselves too, so dont spoil the day for them =D

summary of new rules of this year

Wednesday, January 05, 2005

this is for those seniors who left CSS and wanna know what major changes are made to the school with this new principal

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
okay after 3 days I think I know what are finally the new rules. most apply only during morning assembly (any more and can go jump building liao...)
THE MOST IRRITATING is the requirement to read books during morning assembly, no matter at hall or parade square, lower secs will be handed the same book across the level and upper secs some news article. during that time keep your eyes STUCK onto the book/article and die die dont look up as if in front of you got a ghost or get reprimmanded by either of the teachers near you.
add to that, there is a reading period at the hall every monday and wednesday. so much that it takes up the first period (till 8am) of both days. during that time also die die dont look up or get reprimmanded. because sec 2s are at gallery, lesser people to supervise and no fan, the reading time is very unpleasent =@
after finishing the assigned book (in 1 month)/article (that day), there would be a test based on it. a great job our new principal had did isnt it?
dismissal time are now earlier compared to the past. like for me they are (from mon to fri) 2pm, 1.30pm, 1.30pm, 1.30pm, 2pm (1pm after IPW), 12.30pm. this principal is trying to make school dismiss as early as possible and at the same time. (I do know 3/1 are released at 4pm on thursdays =P)
common tests are shifted to 12.30pm - 1.30pm on tuesdays. probably to prevent us from doing last minute studying.
next, each class sitting down at the hall/parade square would sit in one single row (with a space in centre of course) in register numbers. and it takes a long time to queue up in reg no ya know?
register taking is also taking an awfully long time now since it will be taken in the parade square/hall even if we are sitting in reg nos -.-"
getting back to class after morning assembly would take a long time too, as everyone moves way too slowly. and we must walk two by two -.-" primary school?
school socks idea is cancelled as the price quoted by the dealer is too expensive.
handphones are allowed in school for this year but off or in silent mode when within school compounds.
======================
however for the slow moving thing I think it is mainly because it is still just the beginning of year. the sec 1s not too sure what to do either. soon later movement will be faster.
sitting in register numbers I guess will sooner or later be bypassed as people get their own friends (like when you have new class commitee class behaves after a while it gets back to the mess) only people will probably sit by their genders (girls have higher reg nos than the guys)
mrs teo will sooner or later find the problem with the attendance taking in hall/parade square as it takes really too long and will change it back to the old one.
okay these are just what I predict, dont know will come true or not. reading thing looks impossible to abolish. so oh well.
another thing is the timetable. it didnt change yet! can you believe it! hopefully it doesnt. this looked pretty proper.
if I remember anything else would update tomorrow. school sucks as usual for today. is Mrs Tan Hwee Ping good as a maths teacher anyway? cant be bothered to ramble on about school again. it is suckier then last year. that is it.
more lamer stuff...
Tuesday, January 04, 2005
school is getting boring.
really.
no thanks to the Mrs Teo.
she introduced a whole load of lamer than lame rules and VERY strict with it. for example, like queueing up by REGISTER NUMBERS! what is that? we are not prisonners for goodness sake! why cant we seat with our friends and must sit at the parade square by reg nos? good thing after recess assembly dont practise the same thing...
to make matters worse we are supposed to get back to class A CLASS BY A CLASS. that would take a few centuries to get everyone back to their classes quickly? it was about 8.05am by the time we went back to class today. (contributing to the time I suppose is the reading at parade square thing and they still have to check who didnt bring or bring wrong book. if you dont have the book or bring the wrong one (meaning you brought The Pearl (will be used as lit text for 2nd semester but it is still a storybook right?) or any other textbook, means ONE demerit point! and you only have 5 points to deduct!
lots of things involve demerit points now. too many to list down.
still in the point of getting things ready...some lessons havent commence. so cant comment much on teachers first. teachers met so far are those repeat teachers from last year. only got a new teacher teaching chinese. quite friendly but easily irritated. good thing he not our CM. 2/5 got it this time =P we got the friendliest teacher, Adrian Chia =D
Adrian, our CM decides that we should all seat in pairs with a boy and a girl. since no one made a choice, he shall randomly choose for us. dont know would sit with who tomorrow...
also because of the slow moving system after morning assembly, finally managed to catch a glimpse of a junior. =D slightly shorter than his/her (=P) class from what I see.
first day of sec 2
Monday, January 03, 2005
simply horredulous. the teo talk so much till can fall asleep. the assembly also very long winded. today sit until leg pain.
by the way, sec 2 2005 of commonwealth secondary school will be taking THE GALLERY! YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! although it is "gao ren yi deng" (one level higher than other people) but it is pretty friggin hot up there even with the fans. if you were to sit in the first row of there you can enjoy looking at the metal railings and the wall. so I have decided to chiong all the way up to gallery the next time need go hall and take the last row (who also get the most fan =D)
got back some of the same teachers like the loh lo for science (CM of 1/5 2005) and loh mf for geog (not sure CM of what class) and adrian chia (teaches 1/3 2004 history) who makes a star appearence as our CM teaching CME and English =D we got the friendliest teacher of the bunch! vicki loh again is the CM of 2/1 2005 (CM of 1/1 2004)! lucky people.
today is an utterly boring day. it is all talking talking and for the "old" teachers mean some intro lessons. and that liang lu is like those very strict type of teacher, attend his lessons is damn boring and must hand up homework type (yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwnnnnnnnn....)
nothing much else. probably because it is a really boring day.
school reopening
Sunday, January 02, 2005
back to school I guess. just finish packing my bags and getting stuffs ready. another ten weeks of homework, tests, projects and sleeping early and less slacking (again). but this time I think harder to recover because it has been about 10 weeks (started this night owl lifestyle two weeks before school closes...)
everyone will be stepping up to their new levels...(P6s to Sec 1, Sec 1 to Sec 2, Sec 4 to JC1/Poly and blahblahblah...). hope all of you can cope with the new amount of work =P (the coming Sec 1s I can safely say you can slack till you can spend 6 to 7 hours in front of com everyday).
quite excited to know who will be the CSS 2/3 2005's Class Mentors (Form Teachers), teachers, class commitee (though pretty sure it is pretty useless...) and maybe some new students. also expecting the first day chaos like last year. our turn to cheer for the freshmen, meeting the new principal (but not her speeches...) and also meeting my friends in school again! in short lots of things to look forward to. hopefully pressure from school wont be too much to disturb my life either...
would report more about the first day of school tomorrow evening (or night depending on when I feel like it)
host problem fixed!
Saturday, January 01, 2005
my host has now finished their works. songs should be playable again. sorry for any inconvenience caused.
second post of the day 5 minutes after the previous post!
before I start I would like to make an annoucement:
For those of you whom I am hosting songs for you all using my web services, you would notice that the songs are not playing on your blog. even clicking on play wont work. Apparently I had exceeded my alloted bandwidth for December (Over 3GB of bandwidth are consumed! can you believe it?) I have contacted the host and this is their explanation in a nutshell:
- Bandwidth for my site is exceeded on the last day of 2004.
- When bandwidth is exceeded, the system will disallow access to the site and so the songs cant be played.
- The system is then set to reallow access again on first day of the next month at 0000 (in this case 1st January 2005 0000).
- However, the program did not reallow access this time as the clock changed to January 1st and as it was impossible to have January 1st after December 31st, the system ignored it and continued to deny access.
- It had forgotten to check the year, something the programmers forgot to include while designing this thingy.
They are currently in the progress of restoring my service (and to fix the bug) and they are not too sure when it will be restored (@&$&^&*#$...). Let's all be patient and wait for them to resume the service then. I am not offering compensation as this is a free service provided by me okay! (=P)
now back to blogging.
after reading a blog entry on summary of the year, I decided to do one! last year's Jan 2 2004 I entered CSS as a student for the first time. when at first reach there blur blur because their system are somewhat different from Rulang's. first few days no friends so people go where just follow. the orientation camp did help though. made a few good friends and all. the days are more fun after that. along the journey through sec 1, many events happened and the friends whom I hang out with gradually changed. it used to be Zhepeng, after PYS came came wei hao. because wei hao lives near me so we happen to talk more and such. and then came PYS and Zhepeng became better friends and I am drifting further apart from the two of them. chun kit soon came and the three of us spent quite some time together in school. guangjie too became part of my better friends as wei hao and guangjie are somewhat related being the only two from the same class since primary school in this school. dont know how, even more people joined into Zhepeng and PYS' group and now they are the biggest group in the class and the only group featuring both guys and girls. and my current group now had chin tau in too. because they are all NCC, I got to know some of the NCC people too. of course there are still connections with pys they all, but not as much now...oh well... hopefully I would be able to make more friends in the coming year...like the Carlsberg' World Of Friends =P end of second entry in that case =P
summary of a long long time...
happy 2005 everyone! hope all of you would enjoy your coming level (no matter is it Sec1, Sec2 or JC1 or poly or whatever)!
busily painting the house for the previous two weeks. the door to the house, interior walls and even the toilets are being repainted with a fresh coat of paint. now the house looks much brighter than before (the previous repaint was exactly 10 years ago...) . I am the "lucky" one who is painting the toilets. even though the job is not too pleasent, it did made the beige coloured pipes with algae growing on them have a new life! I also painted the main gate and one of the living room walls. it is quite messy though, with paint dripping everywhere. but at least it is done now =D
have been having a stomachache since yesterday. after popping three (!) bottles of Bao Ji Wan felt much better now. thanks for the concern.
went for the countdown @ boon lay yesterday instead of the sentosa one despite having the stomachache (since it is not as far as sentosa one and I wasted my TWENTY DOLLARS...). my friends came knocking on my door suddenly at 11pm and we went there together. when the clock struck zero there is so much noise pollution and everyone is spraying the foam thingy and the coloured stripes thing around. not to forget the handheld trumpets. there is so much goddamn noise that we almost went deaf. crossing the road over to the foam party is filled with waves and waves of people that make travelling around pretty dizzy because everywhere you turn, you see people only. didnt go to the foam party after all since it is over (zzz...) and the three idiots went to a nearby block to look for a friend whom just happened to turn off all his house lights just when we are about to knock on his door. walking over to the lift lobby made kah sing whip out his lousy G7120 and start pointing at that "Olympic Fire" (the fire from the chiminey of the Power Station). in short it is very lame yesterday midnight so I shall not go on.
school is reopening and when I go back, I will be in Secondary 2/3 of Commonwealth Secondary School (=D). finally my chance to be senior though only by one level. it would mean reaching home ranging from 4pm-7pm again. it would also means that I AM BACK TO IPW! I dont know what is the use for that junk and I have no idea how to begin either... but at least will be meeting friends again. a corrupt councillor also tipped off an informer whom I knew that 1/5 2005 girls quite chio though in limited stocks (13). shall go and check it out one day with a few person (knew one by now though)...
