BAoc Day 2 is out too.
today was a lot better than yesterday. for me, all of the guys and most of the girls were nice people. if this is the kind of group I got for the 4D3N NPSU FOC I am sure I would have enjoyed that camp a lot more too.
not to discredit Zeta 4 lah, but with 40 persons and a whole spectrum of personalities to deal with, it just doesnt feel as comfortable as being in X-Men 6.
I am sure a lot of people are going to disagree with me on this but hey, its my own opinion. dont shoot me. *picks up flameshield*
today was games in noon and a lot of performances and CCA presentations in the morning. the morning stuff was just as standard as yesterday so I will just pick on the CCAs part.
interesting to know there are CCAs like NP Ambassadors and BA Envoys. I think I may join either of them. going out promoting NP or NP School of BA to younger sec/pri students just seems fun.
games involved much less water and is much less dirty. the group's willingness to cooperate really showed here. but with only 13 persons (7 girls 6 guys) I guess that wasnt hard to begin with.
we had this super interesting cheer.
we are the x. we are the men. we are x-men 6
we will fight. we will kill. we are here to fight and kill
we will fight, kill, fight, kill, fight kill, fight kill, fight kill
fight, kill, fight, kill, fight kill, fight kill, fight kill!
the fight kill fight kill chant is done to the rhythm of the 11 claps if you know what is it. so at the back it sounded a lot like a familiar swear word since it was chanted so quickly.
whats more we do the cheer with wolverine's trademark claws, or the "read between the lines" sign, whichever is more familiar to you.
I thought poison balls was most fun. it is a modified version of that cramming-everyone-onto-as-little-chairs-as-possible-while-you-bring-vacant-chairs-in-front-to-move-forward game. as you can see I dont know its actual name. however, instead of competing to cross the finish line, you collect as many balls lying on the floor as possible instead.
we also played charades, an obstacle course and a game where groups take turns to pour water into a jar and the group that causes the water to overflow meets a watery end. and also that tie one ballon to one leg and the other leg to a partner game. all the very standard station games you have come to expect lah.
actually they intended to teach us mass dance too. but, after scores tabulation and verification of scavenger hunt items, it was already 5.5opm. the schedule set out that to start 5.30pm and everyone assumed break camp would be at 6pm. and so everyone was really restless and unwilling to learn and ignored the guy teaching.
after some hesitation, they decided to just let us off at about 6.15pm since most of us cant be bothered trying to dance in such cramped conditions. even the convention centre also cannot hold the entire School of BA properly. that is a good thing for me lah. I dont really care about that dance anyway.
performers and pageant contestants stayed till 6pm yesterday. today they will be staying till 8pm. tomorrow they will report by 10am. I am so thankful I am not either of them. woohoo. my reporting time was supposed to be 11.30am, but my SB (is that what they are called?) suggested having lunch together at 11am. so yup.
looking forward to tomorrow. all there is left is the performances and the pageant and the cheer competition. if they dont bring up mass dance again the only chore would be the party time, which they promised isnt as crazy as FOC's.
but doesnt that mean it is still crazy? only not as much? dot.
