this is just way too good to pass.

as law-abiding and loyal citizens, our parents pay taxes to the government yearly, the people who will maintain the peace and prosperity, as well as sustaining the growth of our glorious city-state island.

after watching the video below, I wonder if all these taxes are actually being put to good use. you have been warned. but proceed anyway or you cant really understand.

The original video is found at http://www.mda.gov.sg/wms.www/video.htm.

this is a true Media Development Authority production, a statutory board of the Singapore Government.

the people uhh... rapping are actually the Senior Management of MDA. I dont know what made them think of attempting this, but I assure everyone I am thinking about it as hard as I could at this moment and I would update this post once I actually find one.

another one is the one by Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CPA). I cannot confirm its authencity, but it seems more a spoof than a real advertisement for HKICPA.

they sounded better! more editing went into it? considering it is probably a few amateurs who did it, when you put this and the government-commissioned video above side-by-side, why does the one that isnt supposed to sound better sound better?

and they know the rule of earth. sex sells. they got their female employees to groove around suggestively, holding their blazers wide open with their hands while puffing up their chests. of course I dont expect the government to do that. just commenting.

here is to hoping your eyes and ears are still intact. I think I need my optrex.

P.S. I thought Ms Ling Pek Ling, Director of Media Policy in MDA, sounded the best, though Cassandra Tay, Director of Communications, looked better.

P.P.S ...I have no idea why am I commented on that video in the first place.
