Area 51 - 19/10 - Thursday

Thursday, October 19, 2006

P.S. After reading through this post, this sounds like some speech made by the top scholar of Harvard on graduation day. though this incident is far from being jovial.

after a gruelling two days plus, the ordeal is finally over.

it involves an expensive property of the school that went missing, with me being last spotted with it according to a particular teacher's account.

it may sound real short, but this is the biggest disaster that I had met with in a long time. the first that involved a police report, in fact.

along the way, I met quite a few discpline and IT department teachers, not to mention some of the members of the School Steering Committee.

I am thrown with threats, warnings and well-meaning advice from them throughout this few days, not to forget the many statements made.

sounds very exaggerated? but it is true.

I apologise for the fact that I cannot delve into further details due to the unique nature of this incident. as to how this thing ended, no, it is not money, we are not that well-off, nor is it force. what is it, I will leave it to think about it yourselves (or maybe just dont think about it)

still, I would like to thank quite a few people who helped me out through this difficult journey.

firstly, my parents who helped me out tremendulously throughout. they really went out of their way to help me out. my parents even made time to visit the school, at a financial loss, in the afternoons... twice, hoping to find the principal. even if they failed to, their presence certainly helped in the resolution of this matter

next are the ex-SPOD Crew, especially Minglyanna. dont know if you will see this, but thanks for being so patient and traced events that happened to the best of your memory. jolynn, chong keng and phyo (and perhaps many others) as well, for some of their accounts. the school probably wouldnt have trusted me without these.

also, my aunt, a qualified counselor, who took quite some time to help me with the recalling of the events that unfolded, especially considering that I am only a nephew to her.

not to forget, the many of you, who had given me moral support to persevere on. yuling, jasper (a sec 2 actually), ying sheng, zhe peng, phyo, perry, alicia, "someone who cares" and pamela, just to name some. thanks guys, I really appreciate that.

again, I am glad everything is over. these things will become part of my memory as I leave them all typed out in a password-protected Word document. a small figment of the troubles of my teenage years as I think back many years later.
