other than surfing friends' blogs (which isnt usually extremely exciting), I surf other more famous blogs too. thus I created the reads section.
there lists the top picks I have for the few "celebrity" blogs, most of them singaporeans and one malaysian.
let me introduce you to the various links:
Atypical Singaporean: Interesting blog that critiques on the bits and pieces of the latest happenings in Singapore.
Haro Singapore!: Documents the interesting (though usually negative) side of Singapore through pictures and humour.
Kenny Sia: Humourous Kuching blogger detailing interesting happenings in his life through photos.
Kok Mun: A friend of my cousin and I dont personally know him so he is listed here. He usually blogs about some of the philosophies and ideas of his. Rather inspiring blog.
Mr Brown: Lets you know more about the latest news around the world presented in a easy-to-read manner.
Also creates humourous podcasts usually slamming the current affairs in Singapore such as the pianist who got away from NS with only a fine and the NKF Saga.
Writes a weekly column in Today, the free newspaper published by MediaCorp Press.
Mr Miyagi: Good friend of Mr Brown. Helps in the podcast of Mr Brown. Blog also has a similar scope as Mr Brown except it has less about his own life and lesser commentary.
It is like the Silkair of Singapore Airlines. Cheaper and smaller edition of the same thing.
Rambotan: A Singaporean currently studying in Chicago. Small titbits about his life. Interesting thing is the video show of his.
Wei Yuan: Same as Kok Mun, and still the same cousin's friend. His insights are usually darker than Kok Mun's.
Xiaxue: The infamous blogger of Singapore. Known to offend many while still having a large fanbase. A constant winner of the Best Asian Blog category in the Weblog Awards held yearly.
guess that is all. enjoy the links.
